Equal and no-equal flanges hot rolled steel corresponds to this type of products, produced according to GOST 535-88. The angles are separated in the following categories:
Hot-rolled equal flanges steel
Assortment corresponds to GOST 8509-93. Precision classes:
- A - high precision;
- B - ordinary precision.
The number of equal flange steel corresponds to flange width, expressed in mm. For example: Angle 25 -flange width 25mm. All other sizes (wall thickness and etc.) according to GOST (shown in the table of GOST book of reference).
Hot-rolled non-equal flanges steel
Assortment corresponds to GOST 8510-93. Precision classes:
- A - high precision;
- B - ordinary precision.
Example: Angle 125x80x8 - the width of one flange is equal to 125mm, other - 80mm, thickness - 8mm.
Steel angle is used in for the construction of metal structures. Angle is produced from carbon steel of ordinary grade GOST 380: St0 St3kp, St3sp / ps St4kp, St4ps, St4sp, St5ps, St6ps, St6sp of high-strength steel (low alloy) GOST 19281-89 brands: 08G2S, 12GS, 16GS, 14G2, 17GS, 09G2S, 14HGS, 15HSND, 10HNDP , 17G1S, 10G2S1, 10G2BD, 10HSND, 15G2SFD, 14G2AF, 16G2AF, 15G2AFDps, 18G2AFps.
